FFY 2016 MD Highway Safety Office Grants Application Period Opens January 7, 2015 . 

The Maryland Highway Safety Office’s grants application for FFY 2016 (October 1, 2015-September 30, 2016) opens on January 7, 2015. Organizations eligible for grant awards include state and local governments, law enforcement agencies, non-profit organization and institutions of higher education. The purpose of the highway safety grant program is to fund activities aimed at reducing the number of motor vehicle-related crashes, deaths and injuries on Maryland roadways. The MHSO has two types of grant programs available: a Law Enforcement Overtime Grant and aGeneral Highway Safety Grant.  Both grants have a proposal deadline of February 27, 2015.
